Cronic Chain Letters

So, on Facebook there is this letter circulating asking people to update 26 random things about them that are random. yet they call this letter "25 Random things about me". Go figure... Yes, you know you filled it out.....as did I

I held out as long as I could and finally filled it out and distributed it....as embarrassed as I was for actually conforming to the social pressure I shared my 26 things.....And after the fact I thought, what the heck....my 5 precious readers may also want to know 26 random things about me that aren't totally common knowledge....

Here goes!


1. One of my favorite songs is "Buttermilk Biscuits" by Sir Mix alot

2. I love the time I have with my parents, especially on the golf course with dad

3. I hate getting my hair done, but love the outcome (same goes with nails, unless I am doing them)

4. I have a love for Karaoke, and once sang with a Neil Diamond impersonator (yet I am tone deaf)

5. I love doing the running man and get into Dance Off Scenarios TOO often even though I am rhythmically challenged

6. I actually lived in a town called “Dodgeville”

7. I actually took over 5 years of etiquette classes (who can tell???)

8. I love wine (red, white, pink, homemade, box, all types!)

9. I am addicted to Edamame

10. I truly love running

11. I could live as a ski bum the rest of my life

12. I am addicted to scrabble

13. I am scared of babies (not like the little people reference above), yet I would like some one day

14. I play the piano-poorly

15. Orson makes me laugh so hard every day my eyes water….even after he eats my shoes, couch, cd’s, and mail….

16. I used to want to write children’s book (yet, babies scare me…go figure)

17. I love to grill- yet almost caught my parents’ New Mexico condo on fire….

18. I love New Mexico (even after the minor fire)

19. I didn’t start wearing make up until college – and still don’t wear it regularly (you may never see it on me during the weekend)

20. I like going to church, but it is sometimes difficult for me to get moving on Sunday mornings (new year’s resolution….so far so good)

21. I love taking Orson to the wine bar to sit on the patio (reference #8)

22. Believe it or not I have a hard time truly opening up to people

23. Many of my friends know me to be an emotional rock (sometimes call me a “Cold Fish”) but I cry easily and privately

24. I will do anything for my friends and family

25. I love college football (wareagle!!)

26. I don’t mind traveling alone
