Three weeks in the life

So too much has happened in the past three weeks for me to really catch up on in detail, but all of them were financially or emotionally draining... Life is a real balancing act....

In the RED

  • I had to buy a new car (traumatic experience. I hate used cars salesmen although I got a fantabulous deal!)

  • Orson had a skin tag that was the size of a roach and it needed to be looked at and biopsied. However, after the $130.00 biopsy it fell off. What was the use? Can I get a refund?

  • Patio STILL needs more landscaping and the dogs STILL like to dig up the new landscaping...I saved my newest Japanese Maple (THIS WEEK)

  • Really, I had to attend 1 wedding shower and 2 baby showers and I have 2 baby birthdays coming up in the next 2 weeks

  • Flew to Louisville for 2 days of meetings got home and then drove to Galveston/Houston

  • Attended 2 weddings in 2 weekends

  • Met Seans entire family

  • Got a RockStar hair dew for a whopping $200.00....Seriously I could have paid the local kids to paint my hair red and white for the 4rth and it would cost me .50

Moving in the right direction

  • I cleared out my closets and gave two HUGE bags of clothes to Goodwill. Seriously, I didn't know I had so many clothes and some I will never fit in again unless I get cancer.....

  • Next is the shed (Don't Ask)

  • Decided to run the half marathon in December and blog my way through my training starting with tonight's 3 mile run!

  • Finally had a party to bless the patio and decided that I need to add on to the patio....UG more work around the corner

Just reviewing my past three weeks has exhausted me...I think I need a nap before my first run.

My party was impromtu and the cute littel car DIED! Every day something new...first the doors wouldn't open, then the sun roof wouldn't close, the check engine light couldn't decide whether to stay on or off, the 12v plug assed out......just tooo much....So I bought a gas guzzling SUV...a 4Runner..and I love it....
